Village is building a network around the people we trust.

• The people we trust make us feel alive. With them we’re crazy to change the world and build great companies. They give us the safe space to evolve half-crafted thoughts into big ideas. They help us grow into the best version of ourselves and together we go through good and bad. In fact, data suggests the impact of trust in business relationships is staggering: Job candidates are 15x more likely to land a job through their network than a job board. Warm introductions are the best way to meet an investor according to YC. Sales customers coming through referrals have a 37% higher retention rate than other channels, and that’s just scratching the surface.
• However, it’s hard to build trusted relationships. With everyone over-connected on social media, building new relationships with trusted connections is an almost impossible task. It’s overwhelming, too demanding, and over anchors on serendipitous luck than process.
• And in 2024 we need them more than ever. Our trusted relationships have shrunk during the pandemic and with an increasingly remote world, knowledge workers need effective, trackable, and scalable tools to build new relationships with trust, safety, and privacy in mind.
• Introducing Village. Village is building a network around the people we trust. We’re starting with facilitating warm intros between professionals our close friends already know and trust. Whether those new connections are investors, business partners, top talent — Village is at the center, and the opportunity to create value and unlock millions of dollars worth of intros is incredible.

It takes a Village

We are missionaries for human-centered tech, but we can’t do it alone. Our team is small but operates at 10x speed towards that mission with energy and drive. We’re ready to roll up our sleeves for any challenge and wear multiple hats when needed. We do that by maintaining a balance between our mission and our personal journeys. We support and stand by each other personally and professionally and respect each others’ times on and off hours as sacred.
